Is there a Reception?

Reception is not on site, however we have an office only a 10 minute walk away at The Spires, 51 Bandon Road and we can also be contacted at davcon@collegeaccommodationcork.ie or on +353 21 4345497.

How far is UCC, The College of Commerce or St. John’s Central College?

It is about a 15 minute walk to UCC and less than 10 minutes to The College of Commerce or St. John’s Central College.

Is there a shop nearby?

Yes, there is a Shop located only a 2 minute walk down Barrack Street with the City Centre only another few minutes walk from there.

Is Smoking/Vaping allowed?

No, the entire complex is non-smoking and all apartments are fitted with smoke detectors.

Is the car parking available at Davcon Court?

No, there is no car parking available at Davcon Court. There is on-street parking in the area however, any Resident that has a car would need to contact Cork City Council themselves to enquire about securing a parking permit.

Are credit card payments accepted?

No, the methods of payment that we accept are cheque, bank transfer or cash paid at The Spires reception only.

How do we get to Davcon Court from the airport?

You have two options
a) You can get a Taxi direct costing approximately €20.00.
b) You can get a bus into the city centre for approximately €6.00 and then walk to Davcon Court, 116 Barrack Street.

Can I deduct booking deposit from rent payment?

No, deposit and rent are two separate payments.

What is the size of a single bed?

W: 90cm, L: 190cm.

What is the size of a double bed?

W: 140cm, L: 190cm.

Do I have my own bathroom?

No, each apartment has 2 bathrooms that are shared.
