Terms and Conditions
- Please note that the Online Booking Application is not a lease agreement. College Accommodation Cork, acting through its management, reserves the right to decline a booking.
- You will receive an automatic reply on completion of the Online Booking Application.
- If your booking is accepted, you will receive an email containing our payment details. If the Booking/Security Deposit has not been received within the allotted time, your room will be automatically released. Please add spires@cacork.ie to your safe senders list to ensure you receive our emails.
- Bookings are only accepted for the entire occupancy period:
– Academic Year 2025/26: Friday, 22nd August 2025 – Friday, 22nd May 2026
– Autumn Semester 2025 Only: Wednesday, 20th August 2025 – Wednesday, 31st December 2025
– Spring Semester 2026 Only: Friday, 2nd January 2026 – Friday, 22nd May 2026
However, we do have some early start rooms available. Please contact us if you wish to check-in prior to start dates above.
NB: The Booking/Security Deposit will not be refunded if a Student vacates before the period of residence is complete. - Cancellation Policy:
A cancellation charge of €150.00 applies up to 30th June 2025 for full Academic Year 2025/26 Students and Autumn Semester 2025 Only Students. A cancellation charge of €150.00 applies up to 12th December 2025 for Spring Semester 2026 Only Students; after these dates the full deposit is non-refundable; all cancellations must be made in writing or by email. - A “Licence to Reside” will be sent to you prior to check-in. This Licence must be signed and presented at check-in along with a photocopy of a valid ID (Passport, Driving Licence, College ID or Garda Age Card). Your chosen first instalment must be received by 21st July 2025 for full Academic Year and Autumn Semester only Students and by 12th December 2025 for Spring Semester only Students. If payment has not been received by these dates, management reserves the right to invalidate an application immediately and without prior notice.

Single En-suite Room
– Security Deposit: €300.00
– 1st Instalment of €4,368.00 due by 21st July 2025
– 2nd Instalment of €4,368.00 due by 12th December 2025
Double En-suite Room
– Security Deposit: €300.00
– 1st Instalment: €4,567.00 due by 21st July 2025
– 2nd Instalment: €4,567.00 due by 12th December 2025
Twin En-suite Room
– Security Deposit: €300.00
– 1st Instalment: €3,152.50 due by 21st July 2025

Full Academic Year: Option B – Monthly

- Academic Year students must pay a Utilities Advance of €900.00 for their stay which is broken down into a fixed charge of €450.00 for the TV Licence and Refuse, Recycling & Glass disposal with the remaining €450.00 used to cover Electricity Charges for the Academic Year at our current provider’s rates. If a Student uses more than €450.00 worth of Electricity during the Academic Year, management reserves the right to make up the shortfall from the Student’s Security Deposit. Otherwise, Management will refund any unused Electricity Advance amount after check-out with the Security Deposit due.
- Students staying for one semester only must pay a Utilities Advance of €450.00 for their stay which is broken down into a fixed charge of €225.00 for the TV Licence and Refuse, Recycling & Glass disposal with the remaining €225.00 used to cover Electricity Charges for the semester at our current provider’s rates. If a Student uses more than €225.00 worth of Electricity during the semester, management reserves the right to make up the shortfall from the Student’s Security Deposit. Otherwise, Management will refund any unused Electricity Advance amount after check-out with the Security Deposit due.
- The basement car park at The Spires is secure and private; however parking is entirely at the owner’s risk. Car parking is not included in the Rent. Spaces are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. If you require a car space, please contact Reception.
- There are a number of bike stands in the car park at The Spires; however all bikes are left in the car park entirely at the owner’s risk.
- Completion of the Online Booking Application does not guarantee you a room at The Spires. Whilst every effort will be made to provide you with your accommodation preference, this is not always possible. No guarantee can be given on room type, location, apartment or fellow Residents. If The Spires is fully booked, we will endeavour to place you in one of our other complexes.
- You agree that all the information given on the Online Booking Application is correct and valid.
