Our 25-house development was constructed in 2007 to the highest specifications and provides superior student housing throughout the college year. With its relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, Sheares Gate is ideal in meeting the needs of the mature student. The complex is located on the Glasheen Road by the intersection with Clashduv Road and is within a 10 minute walk of UCC main campus, Cork University Hospital & Dental Hospital and Wilton Shopping Centre. Each unit is exquisitely decorated, and we offer our students a selection of 2, 3 and 4 bed houses consisting of a kitchen/dining room, a downstairs toilet, a living/TV room with double doors leading out to a private patio garden and bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. Sheares Gate is a gated complex with resident only access and is monitored by 24 hour CCTV.
Due to our excellent location and facilities, Sheares Gate has become very popular with mature Medicine and Dentistry students. A large proportion of these students come from Canada and U.S.A.
