Ich kann das Wohnheim The Spires wirklich Wärmsteins empfehlen! Es ist mit Abstand deutlich günstiger als die anderen Wohnheime in Cork und für seinen Preis echt top! Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig und auch die Ausstattubg ist echt super. Selbst von Twin-Rooms hab ich nur gutes gehört. Ich hatte zu Beginn ein kleineres Zimmer mit Blick auf die andere Hauswand, weswegen das Zimmer sehr dunkel war (es gibt diese Art von Zimmer nur zweimal im Wohnheim) und ich konnte direkt das Zimmer wechseln und der Manager war sehr lieb und verständnisvoll! Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind echt gut und groß und auch die Küche hat alles was man braucht:)
Das einzige was zu berücksichtigen ist, ist dass die Besuchertage bzw Übernachtungsgäste-Regelung schon ernst genommen wird und man versuchen sollte an den Wochenenden Besuch zu bekommen oder alles mit den Mitbewohnern abzuklären dann kann es schon klappen:)
Generell wär meine Empfehlung immer lieb an der Reueption bei Anliegen fragen, alle helfen einem oder lassen mit sich reden!
Alles in allem: wirklich super und ich hab meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und bin traurig gehen zu müssen
The Spires is a brilliantly maintained accommodation complex. My bedroom, en-suite and living area were all very spacious. It is a quiet environment with a secure internet connection, both ideal for studying. I felt very safe while staying here, particularly with the electric gates to the complex and having a security warden on duty each night. Staff and management were swift to respond to any queries both prior to and during my stay. Within walking distance to both UCC and Cork City, I would highly recommend the Spires Student Accommodation.

My stay in the Spires accommodation was really safe and calm. They accommodate requests made and also has the best service,literally like deadass serious. It was really comfortable to stay in. 10 outta 10 would definitely recommend.
The accommodation is very well maintained with everything you require accommodated for and the staff are friendly. You don’t have to really pay for transport for the year because the city and college are so close along with many facilities. The most significant thing is you feel very safe in the accommodation, the accommodation manager and the wardens work hard to ensure your safety and this makes your stay much better, especially when you make such a big move.

I really enjoyed to stay at the Spires this winter semester. The room and the whole apartment were very clean when I arrived. The receptionists were so nice and helpful. I felt safe and comfortable and would definitely recommend anyone to stay there!
UCC is a 5 minute walk away. The city can be reached within a 15 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back!
